A place to pause when life is changing
Grounded one-to-one conversations for times of transition.
Contact me to inquire These one-to-one conversations create space to pause, ground yourself, and gain perspective during periods of transition. Together we explore what’s unfolding while staying connected to the practical realities of everyday life.
Hi, I’m Anne.
Over the past three decades I’ve lived and worked across very different worlds — from nursing in remote communities to roles in public policy and international health.
Many of these environments involved constant change, complexity and uncertainty.
I’ve rarely stayed still. Over time I’ve moved through many of the transitions that reshape a person: relationship endings, career pivots, moving state and country, midlife changes, and the ongoing process of redefining identity as life evolves.
What these experiences have given me is perspective.
Along the way I’ve drawn on simple grounding practices such as yoga, meditation and breathwork — but the heart of staying steady through change is presence, perspective and staying grounded.
I’m someone who can listen carefully, hold complexity, and remain steady when life feels uncertain.
Grounding. Perspective. Emergence.
How the Sessions Work
I offer one-hour online sessions for people moving through periods of change in their lives.
These conversations create space to pause and reflect on what’s unfolding — whether that’s shifts in work, relationships, identity or direction.
Not everything in life can be solved through thinking alone. Often clarity doesn’t come from analysing or forcing answers in the moment.
Instead, we focus on creating enough grounding and perspective for things to settle.
From that steadier place, the next step often becomes clearer over time — sometimes later that day, sometimes days or weeks afterwards.
At the same time, real life continues. Decisions still need to be made and practical action still matters.
These sessions are about holding both: creating space for clarity to emerge while staying grounded in the realities of everyday life.
These conversations aren’t therapy or coaching.
They’re simply a place to pause, gain perspective, and learn how to remain steady while life is shifting.
Book a Session
You don’t need to have everything figured out before booking a session. Often the most helpful place to begin is simply talking through what’s changing.

Life transitions and identity shifts
Major life changes can destabilise everything you thought was certain. I’ve navigated career pivots, relationship endings and the ongoing process of redefining identity in midlife.
Career uncertainty in a changing world
I’ve worked across nursing, remote health services, public policy and international organisations. If you’re recalibrating your direction — or responding to broader changes shaping work and society — we can explore what that might mean for you.
Health changes and the reality of ageing bodies
As both a nurse and someone navigating menopause and midlife myself, I understand how physical changes can affect confidence, identity and wellbeing.
Embodied grounding
I’ve practised yoga for decades and now teach it professionally. Practices that reconnect us with the body can help restore steadiness when life feels uncertain.
Navigating uncertain times
There is a lot happening in the world right now. Many of the systems we once assumed were stable are shifting. Simply having a chat with someone who understands how life can reorganise itself during periods of change can help.Â
These sessions create space to talk openly about those realities and find steadiness within them.

Who these sessions are for
These conversations tend to be most helpful for people moving through periods of change or uncertainty.
Someone who:
- feels that life is shifting — personally, professionally, or both
- is navigating a transition such as career change, relationship change, or midlife re-orientation
- senses that the world around us is changing and is trying to find steadiness within that
- tends to think deeply about life and wants space to reflect rather than rush toward solutions
- has been trying to solve everything at once and would value a place to pause and gain perspective
- is curious about grounding practices such as yoga, meditation, or embodied awareness
Often people come simply because they want a calm, thoughtful space to talk honestly about what’s unfolding in their lives.
Who These Sessions May Not Be For
These conversations may not be the right fit if you’re looking for:
- therapy or mental health treatment
- medical advice or clinical care
- a coaching program focused on goal-setting or performance outcomes
- someone to provide quick solutions or tell you exactly what to do
The intention of these sessions is different. They are about creating enough steadiness and perspective for things to become clearer over time, while staying grounded in the realities of everyday life.
